Day 12

We headed out on the road again with the Grand Canyon as our destination for the day.  Today was much nicer in the weather dept. which was good because we would be on the road for quite a few hours again.  As we drove along we again saw beautiful views, the huge red cliffs of Utah are amazing.  We came upon an old cliff dweller village that we had fun exploring.  We wound our way around Rt. 89 through the Navajo Nation and finally to the Grand Canyon!  We got our first view of the canyon at the Watch Tower and it was breath taking.  It's so big, no words can describe it.  We are looking forward to seeing more of it tomorrow!
